As a lead member organisation of the Liverpool Home Care Providers CIC, MCJA have been keen to embrace new technology designed to support the sector the organisation. They are currently a key partner in the Liverpool 5G Testbed, which is currently trialling how 5G technology solutions can integrate with social care and were also involved in piloting the PASS system introduced to social care providers as part of the European Funded ‘Stop and Go’ programme. This has enabled MCJA to implement electronic care plans for their services, which has had a positive impact on their social care team who have access to real time information when they need it.
In addition to providing all year round services MCJA staff also get involved in a number of social activities as well. This July the office team competed in the Race for Life at Sefton Park and also ran a cake stall which enabled them to raise over £1150 for Cancer UK. Well done team MCJA!
